01 Early Life and Military Career
Born in Istanbul in 1896, Fikret Yüzatlı joined the army in 1915 after quickly completing his studies at Kuleli Military High School. He served in the Palestine Front and later took on significant roles in the War of Independence.
02 War Of Independence and Heroism
Fikret Yüzatlı was wounded four times in the War of Independence and was recognized for his exceptional bravery. He played an important role in the liberation of Izmir and later served as the aide-de-camp of İsmet İnönü.
03 Civil Duties and Later Years
After the war, Fikret Yüzatlı contributed to Turkey's development as a Member of Parliament for Giresun and played a significant role in the development of flat track horse racing. He passed away in 1968 and was laid to rest in Bahçelievler.
